About the role

This full-time Mandarin Staff role is an exciting opportunity to join the team at PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia, a leading processing company based in Morowali, Central Sulawesi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and effective translations and interpretations between Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia or English. This role involves working closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to facilitate effective communication.

What you'll be doing

• Providing accurate and efficient Mandarin to English and English to Mandarin translation for a range of business documents, including contracts, reports, and presentations
• Interpreting Mandarin to English/Indonesia and vice versa during meetings and other interactions
• Assisting with the facilitation of technical communication and understanding between the company's Mandarin-speaking and English/Indonesian-speaking stakeholders
• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
• Contributing to the development and implementation of communication strategies and initiatives
• Providing language training and support to other staff members as needed

What we're looking for

• Fluency in Mandarin with certified minimum HSK 4 or TOCFL B2
• Proven experience in a similar Mandarin translation and interpretation role, preferably within the mining or resources industry (
  Fresh Graduates are welcome
  )
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities to facilitate effective collaboration between diverse stakeholders
• A proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
