The Role

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Generalist to oversee day-to-day HR operations and be a trusted partner to our teams in Bali. 

This is a hands-on, operational role focused on HR operations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement — ensuring that local practices are aligned with our global People & Culture strategy while remaining compliant with Indonesian labor laws.

You'll play a key part in strengthening our operational foundations, improving processes, and helping us build a consistent global employee experience. Over time, this role will evolve into a People & Culture Business Partner, driving broader strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

HR Operations & Policy

• Adapt and implement global HR policies and processes for local compliance and relevance.

• Maintain and update HR documentation, employee handbooks, and internal policies in accordance with Indonesian labor regulations.

• Manage and optimize HRIS tools (e.g., Talenta), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.

• Support managers on HR policy interpretation, performance management, and best practices.

Payroll, Benefits & Compliance

• Oversee accurate, timely payroll processing for all employees (including bonuses, shift allowances, and statutory deductions).

• Ensure compliance with BPJS, tax, and local labor regulations.

• Partner with Finance and Payroll teams to reconcile reports and maintain data integrity.

• Administer benefits and leave management with accuracy and empathy.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Support recruitment for Bali-based roles and collaborate with the global TA team on hiring strategies.

• Deliver onboarding experiences that help new hires integrate seamlessly into

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Act as a trusted partner to employees and managers, resolving issues promptly and fairly.

• Coach and guide the HR Assistant to deliver high-quality support.

• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment that reflects 's values: Be Pragmatic, Be Trusted, Be Energetic, Be Accountable, and Be Respectful.

• Represent the Bali office in global HR meetings and ensure local perspectives are heard.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of HR experience, ideally in a multinational or fast-growing environment.

• Solid knowledge of Indonesian labor law, payroll, and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency with HRIS tools (preferably Talenta).

• Strong interpersonal skills — approachable, empathetic, and solutions-oriented.

• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across borders.
