THE COMPANY
Fett Music is a Germany- and Bali-based international music company specialized in copyright royalty management. We work with around 100 songwriters and several music publishers worldwide across various genres and collect their copyright royalties.
We operate in a dynamic international environment with nearly 20 team members across Indonesia and Germany. Most of our team works from a co-working space in Bali, and we maintain an office in Berlin. Even though we work across countries and time zones, we stay closely connected and support remote work whenever it benefits the team and the company.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As our People & Culture Manager, you will take ownership of all People & Culture topics and shape a strong, healthy, and high-performing team. You will also have a People & Culture Specialist in your team who supports daily operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading & owning the People & Culture department
- Acting as a strategic partner to the CEOs on culture, team structure, and organizational development, and team development
- Overseeing HR operations, contracts, policies, payroll coordination, and compliance
- Driving performance management and supporting managers during review cycles
- Leading recruitment, conducting interviews, and ensuring smooth onboarding
- Strengthening company culture and overall team well-being
- Planning & running employee engagement initiatives and internal events
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in HR / People roles, ideally with leadership exposure (experience in the start-up, creative or music industry is a plus)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field preferred
- Excellent English proficiency (spoken/written) - you communicate clearly, precisely & professionally
- Strong recruiting and talent assessment skills - you know how to identify, interview, and select great talent
- Experience across core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, and policy implementation
- Solid understanding of Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations
- High level of structure, attention to detail, and strong prioritization skills
- Clear, direct, and warm communication style & deep understanding of conflict management with the ability to create clarity and build trust at all levels
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and people-first approach, with a genuine passion for building a positive company culture
- Strong leadership mindset with the ability to coach, guide, and support team members
- Comfort with HR tools and systems (e.g. Jibble, Job Portals)
