About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Vetting Assurance Manager to join our team. In this full-time role, you will lead the vetting and assurance program for tanker fleet to ensure full compliance with OCIMF, TMSA, and charterer standards. Drive SIRE 2.0 readiness, uphold safety and quality excellence, and secure terminal and charterer approvals for domestic and international operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee vetting strategy, audit programs, and fleet compliance with maritime industry standards.
  2. Ensure vessels meet oil major and terminal requirements, including SIRE 2.0 implementation.
  3. Coordinate with charterers, terminals, OCIMF, and relevant authorities for inspection and approval processes.
  4. Review and approve corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) from fleet teams.
  5. Prepare and monitor vetting performance reports and trend analyses.
  6. Act as part of the Emergency Response Team for vessel incidents.
  7. Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental performance.
  8. Lead internal training and awareness programs on vetting and SIRE 2.0 readiness.

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Maritime Studies with COC Class 1 Master Mariner.
  2. At least 2 contracts as Master/Chief Officer, and 3–4 years experience as Vetting, HSSEQ, or Marine Superintendent.
  3. In-depth knowledge of OCIMF (SIRE 2.0, TMSA 3), PSC regimes, and tanker operations.
  4. Strong understanding of statutory requirements, vessel certification, and voyage regulations.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
