Job Responsibilities

  • Manage project costs for interior design projects, including budgeting and cost planning.
  • Prepare cost estimates, tenders, and monitor project expenditures.
  • Implement cost control measures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct value engineering while maintaining design quality.
  • Identify cost-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare financial reports for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Relevant QS experience (at least 3 years), preferably in interior design or fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and costing methods.
  • Proficient in cost estimation and project management software.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Professional certification (e.g. MRICS) is an advantage.
