We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead MEP Engineer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and implementation of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across our construction projects. This role involves close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure all MEP systems meet project standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the MEP design process from concept through completion.
  • Review and approve MEP drawings, calculations, and technical documentation prepared by consultants and contractors.
  • Ensure all MEP designs comply with local codes, international standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural disciplines to avoid conflicts during construction.
  • Evaluate and select suitable equipment, systems, and materials based on performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support during tendering, procurement, and construction stages.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and progress align with approved designs.
  • Supervise MEP engineers and consultants to maintain consistency and accuracy across all project phases.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, schedules, and progress documentation.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability and commissioning teams to ensure system efficiency and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design and coordination within real estate development or large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing MEP works for residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems integration, energy efficiency, and sustainable design principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English.
