Bloom Boutique Atelier is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher/Co-Lead Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the classroom, including the program/curriculum, documentation, and leading the teaching team. This role requires an individual who can ensure a high-quality service is consistently maintained and create an inclusive, safe, warm, and challenging environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for classroom management, program/curriculum, documentation, and leading the teaching team.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families through face-to-face and digital communication.
  • Hold weekly team meetings to maintain an organized classroom and collaborative approach.
  • Set up and maintain a safe, tidy, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Manage daily documentation (photos, videos, notes) for Storypark, weekly journals, and individual journals.
  • Organize diverse activities to keep children stimulated and engaged throughout the day.
  • Assist children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toileting.
  • Meet twice a year for parent-teacher conferences to explain children's individual journals.
  • Attend all staff meetings and participate in at least two professional development courses annually.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or equivalent or higher.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification (or provided by the school).
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training (or provided by the school).
  • Native English speaker or uses English fluently as a second language.
