Community & Culture

  • Act as the lead steward of the school grounds, setting a vision for ecological health and sustainability.
  • Involve parents and the wider community through workshops, volunteer days, and seasonal harvest festivals.
  • Embrace the rhythm of the school year and natural seasons, celebrating them with the children.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with young children (Early Years and elementary) in an outdoor, experiential, or nature-based setting.
  • A deep appreciation for and understanding of the Waldorf educational philosophy, especially as it relates to child development, and a reverent connection to nature.
  • Physically able to work outdoors in all weather and perform manual labor (lifting, digging, bending).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of local ecology and indigenous land practices.
