is looking for a meticulous and result-oriented Procurement Specialist with expertise in managing the export and import processes of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement cycle, ensuring the efficient movement of goods in compliance with international regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers for procurement of goods.
  2. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain.
  3. Ensure that the procurement process adheres to company policies, regulations, and budget constraints.
  4. Manage the export and import of goods, ensuring compliance with local and international trade laws and regulations.
  5. Prepare and process necessary documentation (e.g., invoices, shipping permits, customs forms).
  6. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and the logistics team to ensure timely delivery.
  7. Monitor inventory levels to ensure procurement aligns with shipping schedules and forecasted demand.
  8. Collaborate with the operations team to track shipments.
  9. Analyze transportation costs, customs fees, and tariffs to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  10. Resolve issues related to customs processes, shipping delays, or damaged goods.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records of export/import transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  12. Ensure all required certificates, permits, and licenses are in place for international transactions.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or international trade, with a focus on export/import activities.
  3. Proven track record in managing procurement functions and handling international shipments.
  4. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs processes.
  5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with suppliers.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  9. Additional language skills in English and Mandarin are a plus.
