Role Overview

The Accounting Associate will play a critical role in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements from OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) and Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI).

This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who is familiar with financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and regulatory submissions in the fintech or financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Daily Regulatory Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily financial and operational reports to regulators, including OJK and KSEI, in accordance with regulatory timelines and standards.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with applicable reporting guidelines.

2. Daily Reconciliation

• Perform daily reconciliation of financial transactions and balances between internal systems, bank statements, and other supporting documents.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.

3. Monthly Book Closing & Reporting

• Manage and execute the end-to-end monthly book closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for internal use and submission to regulatory bodies as required.
• Support the preparation of journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and account analysis.

4. Audit & Ad Hoc Support

• Assist in the yearly financial audit process, including preparing supporting schedules, documentation, and explanations for auditors.
• Support other departments and regulatory bodies with accounting data requests or financial analysis as needed.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in financial services, fintech, or audit firms.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and regulatory reporting requirements (OJK/KSEI experience is highly preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (experience with ERP tools or financial platforms is a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across departments.
