We are assisting our client, a rapidly growing financing firm, in hiring a Finance Accounting Associate to support their finance and accounting operations. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with experienced investment professionals, contributing to the financial backbone of innovative startups and a dynamic portfolio of growing companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings, including the preparation of financial statements in compliance with PSAK and IFRS.

  • Monitor and report on cash flow and liquidity positions to support investment and operational decisions.

  • Maintain and update detailed financial records while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with investment, legal, and operations teams to ensure proper cost center allocation and accurate fund-level reporting.

  • Support the external audit process, including preparing audit schedules and addressing auditor requests.

  • Assist in tax compliance activities, including VAT, PPh, and corporate tax filings, in coordination with third-party consultants.

  • Contribute to investor reporting, such as capital call tracking, NAV reporting, and portfolio valuation support.

  • Recommend and implement improvements in accounting systems, reporting accuracy, and process automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome; 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred.

  • Solid understanding of PSAK, IFRS, and local tax regulations.

  • Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Analytical and critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.

  • Integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
