At the end of August, Bulten completed the acquisition of Exim (Exim & Mfr Holdings Pte Ltd), a Singapore-based distributor of fasteners and other C parts. Exim established in 1982 in Singapore, Exim & Mfr Enterprise provides quality-assured fasteners, electro-mechanical components, sleevings / tubings, wires, wiring management accessories and C-parts to multinational manufacturers and equipment makers across diversified industries.

Customer Service & Import Executive
Description and tasks
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline order processing and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels including stock held at VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) customer hub and process all orders meticulously, ensuring accuracy and promptness in execution.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions in the ERP system.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by promptly managing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring order fulfilment including documentation meets or exceeds expectations in a professional manner.
- Coordinate import shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
- Prepare, verify, and manage import documentation (invoice, packing list, BL, COO, etc.) to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Track shipment schedules to ensure timely arrival and clearance of goods.
- Liaise with finance and warehouse teams for payment, duty, and receiving coordination.
- Monitor import costs and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate import records and ensure compliance with company policies and import laws.
