Status Pro Sport is the one-stop football marketing agency for professional football players, trainers, and supporting professionals. Our team consists of (former) players, experienced entrepreneurs, and fully dedicated professionals to support our clients through their entire journey. We represent our clients' interests to help them achieve maximum results, both athletic and in business. Our head office is located in the Netherlands, where we have been operating for over 15 years. Since 2020, we also work from Indonesia.

As our
Sales Manager at Status Pro Sport
, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth by developing and executing sales strategies, expanding our client base, and building long-term partnerships across the football and sports industry. You will lead end-to-end sales initiatives, manage key accounts, and identify new revenue opportunities with players, clubs, teams, leagues, and sports brands. This role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the football business ecosystem.

Key responsibilities


• Drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts, upselling and cross-selling services, and converting strategic opportunities into sustainable income streams.

Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company's long-term business objectives and growth targets.


• Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients including professional players, football teams, clubs, academies, leagues, and sports-related brands.


• Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as club executives, team management, brand managers, and commercial partners.


• Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation, pitching, and proposal development to negotiation and deal closure.


• Collaborate closely with marketing, branding, and project teams to ensure sales initiatives align with brand positioning and client needs.


• Develop customized commercial proposals, sponsorship packages, and partnership models that create mutual value.


• Represent the company in sales meetings, industry events, matches, and networking activities to strengthen market presence.


• Monitor sales pipelines, revenue performance, and forecasts, providing regular reporting and insights to management.


• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the football and sports industry.


• Work cross-functionally with international teams to ensure global alignment and local market relevance.

Qualifications


• Minimum 5 years of experience in , business development, or commercial roles, preferably in sports, football, media, or lifestyle industries.


• Strong capability in creating and converting new business opportunities into revenue-generating partnerships.


• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing high-value deals.


• Experience working with football teams, clubs, leagues, athletes, or sports brands is a strong plus, as it demonstrates an understanding of football culture, stakeholder dynamics, and commercial structures.


• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.


• Solid understanding of sponsorships, partnerships, endorsements, and commercial models in sports.


• Ability to manage complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.


• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.


• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.


• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
