Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and review daily, weekly, and monthly transaction journals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop manual journal entries as needed to support financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, from initial recording to final financial listings, ensuring everything is in line with accounting standards.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with both your team and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Assist in preparing data for both internal and external reporting, ensuring all stakeholders have the information they need.
  • Lead training sessions and development initiatives for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all transactions and financial reports adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a Big Four accounting firm is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
