About the Role
Responsible for the oversight and performance of PT Bank ANZ Indonesia’s Markets business.
A member of the Board of Directors, with associated accountability for the performance of PT Bank ANZ Indonesia.
Reporting to the President Director, PT Bank ANZ Indonesia
The Director of Markets will oversee all aspects of PT Bank ANZ Indonesia’s Markets business, including the day-to-day activities and financial performance of Sales, Trading, and Balance Sheet Management. This end-to-end remit is expected to be reflected in strong business execution, with close collaboration across the Bank to support the overarching objectives of PT Bank ANZ Indonesia.
In addition to overseeing Markets, the Director of Markets is required to work with the Board of Directors in the oversight of PT Bank ANZ Indonesia’s business. This requires comprehensive business acumen, proven leadership experience, strong collaboration skills and unquestionable character. As a member of the Board of Directors, the incumbent is expected to role model ANZ’s values and represent ANZ’s interest in Indonesia at all times.
What will you bring?
Working on various matters ranging in complexity with limited supervision, the Director of Markets will have the following attributes:
**Strong technical expertise**: extensive product knowledge and understanding of the Indonesian market, with 7+ years of relevant experience. Significant Balance Sheet, Trading and/or Sales experience is required.
**Comprehensive business acumen**: As a board member for PT Bank ANZ Indonesia, the incumbent must have broad business acumen, be able to build relationships and collaborate in pursuit of the overarching objectives of PT Bank ANZ Indonesia.
**Unquestionable character and conduct**: A role model for PT Bank ANZ’s values and behaviors, able to represent the Bank’s interests in Indonesia at all times.
Strong communication and influencing skills. Experience dealing with sophisticated counterparties and stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and requirements in Markets.
Experience working in overseas markets with a regional / global bank would be advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership competencies, including the ability to manage change, deliver results, exercise sound judgement, broaden perspective, build relationships, develop self and others, and lead and empower.
Role model ANZ’s values and behaviors, and develop an inclusive, high-performance culture.
