About the Role

PZ Cussons is looking for a seasoned Financial Control professional to join our team as an Internal Controls Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of robust internal controls across our organization.

You will influence, communicate, and liaise with all levels of the group, including management, ELT, and Board level as required. As a subject matter expert in key risks and controls, you will create and develop relationships and networks across PZ Cussons to inform and drive opportunities for financial risk and control improvement.

  • Talent Development: Develop talent and skills within the team to ensure continuity of high-quality service delivery.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration and partnerships across functions to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' work experience as qualified Accountant or Internal/External Auditor.
  • Certifications: Foundational Competency in Reporting, Performance Management, Analysis & Insight, and Business Understanding.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
