Develop and execute news bulletins by selecting relevant news stories, analyzing current events, and creating rundowns.
Coordinate with reporters, editors, and anchors to ensure accurate, unbiased, and compelling news coverage.
Adapt and respond quickly to breaking news by rearranging scheduled programming or extending news coverage as needed.
Work with editors to review the after-production and analyze audience feedback and ratings to refine next production.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Broadcasting, or related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience as News Producer in the TV media industry.
Excellent editorial judgment with a keen sense of newsworthiness.
Strong leadership and team management skills to lead the production team efficiently.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across various departments.
Have a great network of reliable contacts and sources, particularly in government, politics, community organizations, and expert fields.
Understanding of media laws, ethics, and regulations.
