COVID franchise is a sizeable portfolio and revenue for the Indonesia business. The COVID business Lead requires high impact leadership and stakeholder engagement to drive growth and impact for the healthcare system.

The role requires excellence in execution to reach the short and long-term goals for this portfolio to continue working on government purchase agreement along with penetrating private market, accelerate launch excellence and pipeline, build key external stakeholders’ engagement and partnerships with government and/or large scale corporation in order to increase access for patients.

The role reports to Country Manager, and will be a member of the Leadership Team and will provide input and help shape strategy and focus for the business.

The role will be responsible for developing annual and multi-year operating plans and will represent the business at the country leadership level with Indonesia Government and other health bodies to secure the short and long term objectives.

Operational and Financial Performance
- Responsible for setting a bold direction and leading, managing, developing and growing the BU to achieve its strategic goals and financial objectives
- Accountable for delivering on all financial commitments, maximizing BU revenue through rigorous P&L management and KPI monitoring
- Optimize resource allocation to attain business objectives, e.g., focus on larger products and upcoming launches
- Lead OP process for the BU
- Maximize lifecycle product performance through excellence in aligned and innovative planning and execution.
- Work with above country teams to provide strategic / brand / operating plans.
- Approach business with a One Pfizer mindset to optimize results for Pfizer

Strategy
- Create an environment and values which will support short and long-term business success
- Ensure the successful identification, planning and strategy for new products and new business opportunities and partnerships to develop the business in line with Biopharma strategic direction. Ensure successful integration derived from potential acquisitions and alliances
- Develop and execute innovative long term business strategies/models to maximize revenue, market share, and income growth, building on strong partnerships between Government and Pfizer.
- Work in partnership with Global AV and mRNA Franchise teams to deliver a future portfolio and strategy that maximises opportunities
- Maximize lifecycle product performance through excellence in aligned and innovative planning and execution.
- Invest and leverage the base business to ensure sustainable contribution to Pfizer Inc.
- Identify and exploit market specific opportunities to grow revenue and income.
- Evaluate, develop and execute new go to market strategies and innovative financing to overcome affordability issue

Customer Engagement
- Collaborating with Customer Engagement Lead to develop execution of customer strategies and tactics with the integrated cross functional customer facing teams appropriate to the market needs
- Personal ownership of key stakeholder relationships

People and Leadership
- Attract, develop and retain key talent and develop leaders in the organisation
- Proactive leadership and approach to ensure a culture of integrity and compliance, for the organization to operate and win in the right way, always and at all levels; ensure compliance of regulations and Pfizer policies at all levels of the organization
- Support the continual building of the Pfizer values Culture within the BU and across the country organization
- Lead and coach a high performing team to develop colleagues within the countries
- Build and actively manage a pipeline of succession talent.
- Upholding and modelling Pfizer values, and visible and inspirational leadership

Qualification
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Science/Pharmacy (mandatory) and other further post qualifications (MBA/ Masters) will be most preferred
- Deep understanding of P&L and demonstrated ability to make bold resource allocation decisions to drive growth. Prior experience managing a P&L is required
- Significant and successful people management and talent development experience
- Experience working externally with government, payers, trade associations, etc.
- Experience managing third party/external partnerships is preferable
- Ability to influence to gain cross functional alignment with key stakeholders and leaders
- Managing complexity across brands, markets, functions
- Providing a clear vision and direction to others on what is important.
