We are currently recruiting for an Order Desk Manager to join our business in Jakarta to manage the overall Order Desk Teams.

Job Scope:
As the Central Order Desk Manager for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and effective order management processes. You will oversee a team responsible for handling orders, coordinating with various stakeholders, and optimizing workflows to drive operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead and manage the APAC Central Order Desk team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
- Oversee end-to-end order management processes, including order & quote entry, validation, processing, and fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, logistics, and contract management, to streamline order workflows and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize order processing efficiency, improve turnaround times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor order status and performance metrics, analysing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction or process enhancement.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex order-related inquiries or issues, providing timely resolution and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements relevant to order management, ensuring compliance and proactively adapting strategies as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and automation to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and mitigate risks.

What You’ll Bring:

- 2-5 years people management/leadership experience.
- Experience in a similar role is essential. Ideally someone who has worked in Mining, Heavy Machinery, Oil and Gas or similar resources in a Sales Support function.
- Experience of the Sales Cycle and a strong financial administration background.
- Based in Indonesia and open to travel.
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
