Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for an Operations Monitoring Officer to join our team based in Jakarta. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

The Assistant Operation Manager conducts detailed monitoring and technical support to the whole operation activities. Collecting necessary information and detailed updates relating to the job handled. Responsible for ensuring the entire job is well monitored, once job received, during the field operation activities, until the loading/discharging is completed. Provide regular daily reports delivery to the client and communicate the job progress with the partners, evaluate finding and solve the potential problem that is related to the job. In addition, this position requires good communication, strategic & critical thinking, quick response with the related parties, good understanding of job procedure with client requirements, and also need to work closely with other departments to facilitate communication and coordination.

Furthermore, this role involves adhering to safety protocols, ensuring environmental compliance, and continuously seeking professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

**Essential**
- Demonstrates effective leadership and organizational capabilities to oversee tasks and teams successfully.
- Strong Management Skills: Demonstrates effective leadership and organizational capabilities to oversee tasks and teams successfully.
- Knowledge of Government Regulations: Familiar with compliance requirements, particularly for LHV and LS document standards.
- Quality and Quantity Survey Expertise: Skilled in evaluating and ensuring accuracy in quality and quantity assessments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Spreadsheets: Strong data analysis abilities, with a focus on organizing and interpreting complex datasets.

**Required Competencies**
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all operation activities monitored
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other departments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions quickly.
- Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with coal quality basis to basis, quantity survey based on draft survey and weighbridges.

**Required Work Experience**
- Minimum 5 years Experiences in related fields is preferred.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum Diploma in engineering, marine or closely related field..
- Knowledge of Coal Quality & Quantity survey is strongly recommended.
- Knowledge of Export or Import Regulation for Coal and Mineral
