What you will do The Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs will be responsible for the development and implementation of corporate affairs strategies that will build trust and corporate reputation as well as shape public policy and stakeholder engagement for Kenvue Indonesia and Philippines.

The candidate will ensure a consistent corporate narrative in the market and be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of communications strategies and programs to inform, educate, and inspire key audiences internally and important stakeholders externally.

Key audiences include (but not restricted to) consumers/customers, healthcare professionals, employees, KOLs, regulators and health authorities, government agencies, media and the community we operate in.

The candidate will also serve as the Government Affairs representative before government officials, policy makers, and relevant stakeholders.

He/she will help drive industry positions and shape healthcare, regulatory, and ESG policy environments, as well as build or enhance the company's relationships with key associations.

He/she will also participate in industry coalitions and industry groups, maintain critical policy partner relationships, monitor governmental policies, regulations, or legislations that may impact the company's products and services, and proactively recommend contingency plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Company's business including our people, operations, and external operating environment.
  • Ensure a robust Corporate Affairs stakeholder and issues management strategy is developed and executed for business priorities.
  • Monitor the internal and external environment to ensure corporate integrity is established and fostered consistently across the culture, products and services, leadership, and all operational aspects of the business.
  • Develop and implement integrated multi-stakeholder public relations programs to drive business objectives and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Support brand PR programs in partnership with the Marketing Team for key focused brands, such as those in Self Care
  • Create and execute strategies to shape and influence regulations and policy in partnership with the business.
  • Engage with public policymakers, opinion leaders, trade associations and other key stakeholders to inform, influence, and formulate favorable public policy that protects our freedom to operate and generates opportunity for growth.
  • Provide advice and collaborates with key business leaders on media and governmental issues to develop contingent strategies business and or crisis management.
  • Act as a leader in crisis management for issues that may occur, working closely with the Metropolitan Asia and Asia Pacific Team
  • Support Leadership Team in organizing internal events such as townhalls and kick offs
  • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement programs to drive business objectives, talent development and employee retention in partnership with HR.
  • Serve on the Leadership Team contributing to strategic decision making that supports organizational and business objectives What we are looking for Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of communications/business/government facing experience.
  • Seasoned in corporate and executive communications, brand PR, employee engagement, as well as formulating and leading significant issues management and government relations.
  • Expert in media relations strategy development and has strong, existing relationships with key editors of the media.
  • Knowledge of the industry regulatory & healthcare policy environment with proven experience in shaping the external environment, such as in the areas of government affairs, incentives or public policy in the consumer healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrates experience in the involvement and success of influencing the development of legislation/policy and has strong knowledge of the processes.
  • Ability to interface, develop rapport, and be articulate with Senior Leadership, from internal stakeholders to external high-level positions
  • Exceptional writing ability and proven expertise in executive communication, including press releases, speechwriting and presentation development.
  • Proven track record in navigating in a highly decentralized, collaborative work environment, to influence, align and deliver on strategic and tactical topics, at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage external agencies/consultants.
  • Ability to manage internal budgets to strategic planning process.
  • Ability to connect the right people and processes to deliver key business outcomes.
  • Experience of working for a large international company.
  • Candidates with advanced oral and written fluency in English is preferred.
