The Opportunity:
This is a rare opportunity to join Torch.id at a pivotal moment in our growth journey. As the Head of Finance, Accounting, and Tax, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and driving our expansion. You will be a key leader in our organization, overseeing the financial infrastructure that will support our ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the finance, accounting, and tax teams, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
2. Drive fundraising efforts and manage investor relations, ensuring Torch is well-positioned to secure the capital required for growth.
3. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the rapid scale-up of our retail operations.
4. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial health.
5. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
6. Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the finance and accounting teams.
7. Act as a key advisor to the executive team on financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in finance within the retail sector (min.10 years), ideally within scale-up businesses.
- Proven experience in fundraising and managing investor relations, particularly in high-growth environments.
- Strong social skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and other stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial regulations, especially within the Indonesian market.
- High level of agility and resilience, with a deep understanding of the dynamics characteristic of the retail industry and scale-up company.
- Strong Leadership with the ability to build and nurture high-performance teams.
