We are looking for an Associate Director to join our team in Jakarta.
- The Associate Director fully manages client projects and help companies to listen to, and collaborate with their customers, based on Human8’s innovative research methods.
- The key part of the role is to manage complex quantitative/ qualitative/ community research projects, with a senior member of the business overseeing the work. Also included is project lead for routine or simple research projects and assisting in the development of junior staff.**Responsibilities**:
- You are responsible for the entire project cycle (on all project types and complexities).
- You delegate tasks to junior colleagues, ensuring they are briefed fully and supported to deliver high quality outcomes.
- You are an expert and reference point when it comes to designing activities.
- You give directions to junior consultants as they perform their analysis and create reports.
- You are an expert at finalizing conclusions and impactful recommendations, that receive positive feedback from Beacon and clients alike.
- You have strong client presentation skills and can co-moderate client workshops and/or brainstorms.
- You are a confident account relationship manager and can build relationships with clients.
- You are a confident pitcher, meaning can have 'open', commercial conversations with clients (i.e. listen / reflect / respond).
- You can design proposals for a range of Solutions (inc. complex), with limited direction needed from other seniors.
- You support senior colleagues on initiatives relating to specific expertise.
- You identify areas of development and encourage individuals to seek out the relevant opportunities and training needed.
**Qualifications**:
- A bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. psychology, social studies, policies, business, etc).
- At least 5 years as researcher, with 1~3 years’ experience in leading a team of researchers.
- Demonstrated success through impactful research projects.
- Understand organizational context, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Connect research insights to broader organizational goals.
