**We are looking for someone with**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Islamic Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Islamic Finance Qualification, Certified Sharia Advisor) is preferred
- 7 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or Islamic banking.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of Sharia principles and Islamic finance regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for Islamic financial institutions.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

**Nice to Haves**:

- Ability to build and manage relationships with the key internal stakeholders

**On the job you will**:

- identifying sharia risks, both inherent and other risks, and preparing Sharia Risk Management Reports for mitigation and escalation to the AJMIS related Division Head, AJMI Risk Management Team, Sharia Supervisory Board ( _Dewan Pengawas Syariah-DPS) _, Distribution Channel Risk Managers, and Risk Management Committee (RMOC and RMC).
- Manage and oversee Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) meetings, particularly those related to sharia risk management and control, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of action plans.
- Support sharia risk owners and other related risk managers in establishing appropriate mitigation controls for inherent risks and assessing the effectiveness of risk control design and operation.
- Report residual risks across the sharia business that have not been mitigated by the Company's controls.
- Collaborate with related departments and the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) to periodically (quarterly, semi-annually, and annually) monitor the sharia business plan including its revision and its realization).
- Collaborate with the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) in controlling sharia risk management and mitigating any incidents in Manulife Indonesia's sharia unit.
- Control the duties, rights, and obligations of the DPS in performing their role as supervisors of sharia financial institutions in accordance with POJK Number 44/2020.
- Responsible for controlling the Business Unit Continuity Process (BUCP) to restore the worst-case scenarios in the AJMIS.
- Responsible for controlling the Business Unit Record Control (BURC) process to ensure accurate, honest, and compliant record-keeping with Company procedures.
