**Country IT Professional - ID / Indonesia IT Manager**

**PURPOSE**
- Ensure that the business receives appropriate IT services and support IT service delivery to maintain business continuity.
- Responsible for translating business requirements into necessary IT services and ensuring smooth business operations in the local market, taking into account local culture and language.
- Manage local IT service provisioning where global IT services are not applicable.
- Possess strong business knowledge and familiarity with IT processes; facilitate cooperation between business and IT for changes, escalations, and provisioning; align business needs with IT capabilities.

**MAJOR TASKS**

Platform/Unit/Squad
- As a member of the Application Operations Platform, ensure that the global IT product capabilities align with local and regional business requirements. Establish and maintain relationships with external providers to ensure satisfactory delivery within the country and region.
- Serve as the primary contact for the country management team concerning escalations, new IT demands, or IT service consultancy. Embrace new IT product capabilities within the context of Cloud, workplace, infrastructure, etc.
- Oversee the final delivery of IT services to Indonesia users by contracted providers and act as the escalation point for issues related to service delivery scope. Ensure that business needs are effectively translated into service requests and executed through appropriate channels for both minor (service and change requests) and major (project) activities.

Business
- Act as the primary contact, ensuring the business receives IT services and is responsible for translating business demand into necessary IT services.
- Manage escalations, provide essential IT knowledge, and support business opportunities for value creation.
- Oversee IT activities in the local market, considering cultural and linguistic factors.

Others
- Manage and execute complex IT projects and demands for Indonesia.
- Engage with local providers for contract finalisation along with relevant functions such as Procurement, LPC, etc., and on/off board them on Bayer's service delivery framework.
- Support all types of audits (internal & external) on IT workplace-related topics, including disaster recovery, GxP relevant processes, and validations.
- Manage the 3rd party IT infrastructure team to support critical IT infrastructure at production sites, office sites, and remote offices in Indonesia.
- Manage country-specific IT costs and reporting while adhering to global directives.
- Ensure compliance with quality management, IT security, license management, contracts, financials, ICS, and other IT-related processes in the country.

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- 3+ years in business, business processes, IT design, development, implementation, and support
- High proficiency in English
- Familiarity with Bayer business models, strategies, and processes.
- Leadership experience working with senior management.
- Skills in managing vendors, including internal and external service providers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of information technology and/or infrastructure.
- Strong intercultural understanding and experience.
