ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are a fully remote team and are looking for a freelance rockstar **IT Support Specialist** to monitor and maintain the company’s IT systems, install, and configure software, and solve technical issues as they arise.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
- Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
- Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
- Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT support specialist.
- Certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
- Experience working with remote teams and bringing issues to resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
- Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage time, be responsive and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.

**Hours**: Part-time. Any time zone in the US.
