Chemonics International, a US-based international development consulting firm, seeks expressions of interest from qualified technical experts (both short-term and long-term) for an anticipated Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Activity in Indonesia. The activity aims to strengthen financial intermediation for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially those owned by women in Indonesia, particularly in the targeted provinces of Riau, South Sumatra, North Sulawesi, Riau Islands and Bali. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

**Technical areas may include**:

- Business Management
- Credit risk management
- Market strategy
- Product development
- Access to finance
- Business policy, registration, and taxes
- Fintech and other web-based matchmaking and crowdsourcing platforms
- Women’s economic empowerment
- Business operations and finance
- Gender, equity and social inclusion

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required; advanced degree preferred
- Eight years of experience providing leadership in programs of similar scope and complexity in Asia
- Experience assisting financial institutions to serve the MSME segment in Indonesia. Knowledge of the IFC, EBRD or ADB models would be an advantage
- Extensive experience in one or more of the technical areas listed above in the context of MSME intermediation preferred
- Experience in Indonesia or other South/Southeast Asian countries is required
- Previous experience with MCC or other donor-funded programs is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English required
