**Purchasing Specialist**

**America Steel Trade Corporation** is an international trading company headquartered in North Miami, Florida. AST specializes in sourcing, exporting, and distributing commodities to the North, Central and South America.
- **Who are we looking for**:_

A motivated and self-driven individual who has purchasing experience in long and flat steel - for the market of ASIA. You will be the person responsible for searching mills suppliers or others in this region. You will be the person to successfully assist in the material supply operation by making price and market analysis, and provide offers.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Assist in conducting market research in the Steel/Metal Industry in ASIA;
- Determine the list of possible suppliers;
- Receives offers from various companies for the relevant product demand;
- Assists in order process, quality assurance, and purchasing contracts;
- Orders after approval from Manager;
- Performs supplier-based performance evaluations;
- Perform statistical studies;
- Reviews the connected goods purchase contracts according to company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous working experience in Purchasing area in the Steel/Metal Industry for +/-4 years
- Expertise and knowledge of commodity suppliers in Asia region
- Applicable knowledge of trading prices and terms and conditions
- In-depth knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Fluent or Professional English (mandatory) and Chinese

This is a full-time position.

Pay: From Rp1,200,000 per month
