**Job Overview**

Carrying out computer operation tasks efficiently which include but not limited to production jobs and system monitoring, performing data copying/loading, with minimum production time lost. The role starts as a 6-months contract position.
- Ensure smooth and efficient production by consistently check on running jobs to spot job hanging and system errors.
- Performs data copying and loading efficiently and correctly to minimize production time lost.
- Report all computer operations problems to IT team and Facility Officer and communicate operation information correctly to the next shift members for the continuity of smooth operation.
- Make sure instructions from the IT team on hardware issues are followed correctly
- Communicate with users when required to minimize production time lost.
- Perform basic technical assistant to users when available and require such as creating geometry and segy, compute/create model fbpick, and backup data projects.
- Performs HSE responsibility for the safe upkeep of the computer room facility.
- Aide the processing staff with first break picking, velocity picking and archiving data when time permits.

**Key Skills & Experience**

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years computer operations experience. Formal education in computer science or related field is preferred.

**Desired Job Skillsets**
- Excellent computer skills, including strong working knowledge of UNIX, LINUX & WINDOWS.
- Possesses a basic understanding of available software, tools and techniques.
- Good communication skills across stakeholders.
