**Scope of Work**

Forest Carbon is looking for a Legal Manager that will oversee the legal aspects of business activities. This position will safeguard the company's reputation by guaranteeing that Forest Carbon follows the relevant laws and regulations and give legal advice to management about relevant issues.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Draft agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company full legal compliance including assisting the SeniorManagement team/Board of Management in preparation ofconservation projects contracts, reviewing the contracts in order tomitigate the risk exposures to the Company/Projects.
- Supporting business area’s procurement department in respect of contractual aspects.
- Actively support and drive the compliance function in Indonesia and ensure that the corporate legal documents are in line with the existinglaws and regulations (such as working permits, business licenses,insurance and any other corporate housekeeping documents)
- Actively participate in the development of processes and policies relating to legal department.
- Research and keep up date about laws and policies related to environmental services in Indonesia.

**Required Qualification**:

- Proven experience as a corporate lawyer (previous working in law firms will be considered as an advantage) at least 7 years.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures (understanding of carbon market and environmental lawwill be considered an advantage).
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Has a law master’s degree (MH or LLM).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Indonesian and English.
