The **Senior Legal Manager - Indonesia** will serve as the primary legal counsel for ChemOne’s Indonesian operations. This role involves managing legal risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting business operations and contracts, and engaging with both internal stakeholders and external counsel. The role requires deep knowledge of Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly in the industrial, chemical, and infrastructure sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Legal Counsel & Strategy**
- Act as the primary legal advisor for ChemOne Indonesia, supporting business units on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive, business-oriented solutions.
- Monitor changes in Indonesian legislation and assess impact on operations.

**Contracts & Transactions**
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including finance documents, procurement contracts, land acquisition agreements, EPC contracts, and MOUs with local and international partners.
- Support transaction structuring for joint ventures, partnerships, and local investments.

**Regulatory Compliance**
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian laws, including but not limited to:

- **PT and foreign investment laws**:

- **Manpower & employment law**:

- **Environmental regulations**:

- **Industrial and zoning regulations**:

- Coordinate with relevant government agencies and ministries for licensing and approvals.

**Dispute Management**
- Manage external counsel in litigation and dispute resolution processes.
- Lead internal legal investigations and guide stakeholders on dispute strategies.

**Corporate Governance**
- Support the legal setup, maintenance, and governance of legal entities in Indonesia.
- Ensure compliance with reporting obligations under Indonesian Company Law.

**Requirement**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable Indonesian university; Master’s degree (LL.M.) is a plus.
- Licensed advocate (Peradi) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum **10 years** of legal experience, with at least **5 years in an in-house counsel role**, preferably in energy, chemicals, heavy industry, or infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian legal, regulatory, and business environment.
- Proven ability to navigate Indonesian government agencies and licensing bodies.
- Strong contract negotiation, drafting, and advisory skills.
- Excellent Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience working in multinational or joint-venture business structures.
- Familiarity with environmental permitting and industrial zoning issues in Indonesia.
- Understanding of anti-corruption, AML, and international compliance frameworks (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act).
