Kredivo is hiring for a Senior Legal Manager. The incumbent will be assisting the Legal Counsel of the company in ensuring that effective legal support is provided to commercial teams. This is a great chance to gain exposure and challenge your legal knowledge and commercial acumen.

About the job:

  • Advise the relevant stakeholders on various regulatory requirements related to lending business operations.
  • Supporting the relevant stakeholders with legal advice/legal assistance on commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and advising on agreements with third-party vendors and strategic partners
  • Providing legal support in a range of legal matters, including company secretarial, legal administrative filling, submission and/or reporting of legal data.
  • Monitor and report any regulatory updates on a regular basis.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to legal requests & regulatory advice from the relevant stakeholders, and advise on recommended courses of action.
  • Developing legal precedents in line with the legal, regulatory, and corporate environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations, ranging from BI and OJK regulations to company administration.
  • To succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of legal knowledge and expertise and the application thereof in to the business environment.

About you:

  • Bachelors Degree in Law (masters degree is a plus) and a minimum of six years' combined experience as a corporate lawyer at a reputable private practice firm and in-house legal practitioner (tech and financial industry experience are desirable).
  • PERADI certified.
  • Competence as a lawyer; ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills, excellent drafting, and a drive to provide commercially sound advice with the ability to challenge results, provide solutions, and form justifiable assumptions for the business.
  • High personal integrity and commitment, strong communication and negotiation skills, independent and solution-oriented working style.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and proficient in Google Docs & Slides (tech-savvy is a plus).
