The Business Banking Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the business banking operations within an organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the effective delivery of banking services to business customers. The Business Banking Director collaborates with various internal stakeholders and leads a team of professionals to achieve financial targets and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategies to drive business banking growth, market penetration, and revenue generation. Identify opportunities for product and service development, expansion into new markets, and improving customer experience.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, key stakeholders, and industry influencers. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored financial solutions. Foster long-term relationships to enhance customer retention and cross-selling opportunities.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of business banking professionals. Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and facilitate professional growth. Foster a positive work environment, encourage collaboration, and promote a customer-centric culture.

Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the business banking division. Develop and monitor budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify and address areas of risk and implement effective risk management practices.

Product and Service Development: Collaborate with product development teams to identify and launch new business banking products and services. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings. Ensure products and services meet the needs of business customers and are aligned with organizational objectives.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations, policies, and procedures. Implement and monitor risk management protocols to safeguard the organization and its customers against financial and operational risks. Stay informed about industry regulations and proactively address compliance issues.

Market Intelligence: Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and adapt business strategies accordingly. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding market dynamics, competitive landscape, and potential risks or opportunities.

Collaboration: Work closely with other internal departments, such as retail banking, credit, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of banking services to business customers. Collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies.

**The Successful Applicant**:
At least 15 years within Banking in Indonesia, across Corporate, Commercial, SME and E-Banking / Digital functions

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Extensive experience in business banking, commercial banking, or a related financial services role

Proven track record of successfully managing and growing business banking portfolios

Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

In-depth knowledge of business banking products, services, and industry trends

Sound understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit principles

Proficiency in financial management and budgeting

Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management in the banking industry

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset

Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional, Certified Business Banker) may be preferred or beneficial.
