About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Control Inspector Civil to join our team at PT Mirah Global Investment in Badung, Bali. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to be part of an exciting civil engineering project and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspect construction materials, equipment, and on-site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, building codes, and safety standards for residential apartment and hospitality developments.
  • Conduct regular on-site quality inspections and document findings, including identification and reporting of deviations, defects, or non-conformances.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality control plans to ensure proper implementation on site.
  • Participate in scheduled quality control meetings and provide professional recommendations for corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, inspection checklists, test reports, and quality documentation for all project activities.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control procedures, inspection plans, and quality assurance policies specific to commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the civil engineering or construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Proficient in using quality control equipment and software
