Role Description

This is a contract role for a CDP (Chef de Partie) - Indonesian Specialist. The role is on-site, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a CDP, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of Indonesian cuisine, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Key tasks include managing kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, collaborating on new menu creations, and ensuring ingredient stock availability. You will work closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences aligned with TOMA Group's vision for innovative and memorable culinary offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic Indonesian cuisine with attention to detail and flavours.
  • Experience in team collaboration and kitchen management, ensuring smooth operations and staff productivity.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and inventory management to maintain high operational standards.
  • Adaptability and creativity in developing new menu items, showcasing expertise in Indonesian culinary traditions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in a high-end restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
  • Culinary education or related certifications are advantageous.
