Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in our New location in Bali, Indonesia. The Sous Chef will assist in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring the quality and consistency of dishes, and managing kitchen staff. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking and plating dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Sous Chef will also be involved in menu planning, inventory management, and training junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills, including cooking, plating, and food preparation
  • Experience in kitchen management and staff supervision
  • Knowledge of menu planning and inventory management
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
