About the role

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Staff to join our team at PT Indo Taichen Textile Industry in Tangerang, Banten. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and supplies to support our textile manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Researching and identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and negotiating competitive pricing
  2. Issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries and resolving any supply chain issues
  3. Maintaining detailed records of all purchases, inventory levels and supplier performance
  4. Collaborating with production, logistics and finance teams to optimise inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
  5. Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement cost-saving measures
  6. Adhering to all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements related to purchasing

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-3 years experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or textile industry
  2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive supplier relationships
  3. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
  4. Proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office applications
  5. Thorough understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
