Associate Manager- Cash Management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cash Management & Liquidity

• Daily Cash Positioning: Monitor and manage daily cash positions across all entities and bank accounts
• Cash Forecasting: Prepare short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts in collaboration with FP&A and Commercial Finance teams
• Liquidity Management: Execute fund transfers between entities and accounts to optimize liquidity and minimize borrowing costs
• Cash Pooling: Manage notional cash pooling structures and inter-company lending arrangements
• Surplus Cash Investment: Execute investment of surplus cash in accordance with company policy (term deposits, money market funds)

Treasury Operations & Payments

• Payment Factory Management: Oversee the centralized payment processing function for all 12 legal entities
• Supplier Payments: Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier payments across all markets
• Payment Strategy: Optimize payment methods and channels (TT, SWIFT, local clearing) to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
• Bank Account Management: Maintain and administer all bank accounts, including signatory updates and KYC requirements
• System Optimization: Continuously improve treasury management systems and payment processes

Banking & Relationship Management

• Bank Relationships: Serve as primary day-to-day contact with regional banking partners
• Fee Analysis: Monitor and analyze banking fees, negotiating better terms where possible
• Service Management: Coordinate with banks on service issues, system implementations, and process improvements

Compliance & Control

• Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal controls around cash movements and payment processing
• Documentation: Ensure proper documentation for all treasury transactions
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audit requirements for treasury operations
• Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with company treasury policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or payment operations
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Experience managing multi-currency treasury operations in Southeast Asia
• Proficiency with treasury management systems and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Strong understanding of payment systems and banking infrastructure in SEA

• Professional certification (CTA, CPA, CMA, or similar)
• E-commerce or retail industry experience
• Experience with treasury workstations (Kyriba, SAP Treasury)
• Multilingual capabilities (English + one SEA language)

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis)
• Bank connectivity platforms and payment factories
• Cash flow modeling and forecasting techniques
• Understanding of FX risk management basics
• ERP system proficiency
