Role Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Tax Manager / Assistant Tax Manager to manage the day-to-day tax compliance activities, provide direct advisory support to clients, and supervise junior team members to ensure the accurate and timely execution of all tax projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Tax or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Tax Consultant in a Tax Consulting Firm or Public Accounting Firm.
  • Strong knowledge and thorough understanding of Indonesian tax law and regulations.
  • Preferably holds a Brevet certification (A, B, and/or C).
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Compliance & Reporting
    : Ensure the smooth and timely process of preparing client tax reports.
  • Tax Calculation & Submission
    : Perform tax calculations, manage tax payments, and handle the accurate submission of client tax returns.
  • Advisory & Planning
    : Provide expert tax consultation, conduct effective tax planning, and optimize tax benefits for clients.
  • Tax Refund & Restitution
    : Assist clients with the process of tax restitution (refunds).
  • Tax Audit Representation
    : Represent and/or accompany clients during tax examinations/audits conducted by tax authorities.
  • Policy Development
    : Assist clients in drafting and implementing internal tax guidelines and manuals.
  • Team & Project Management
    : Ensure effective team consolidation and cooperation among subordinates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coaching & Development
    : Oversee and ensure the professional skill development of team members.
