Job Objective

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ReactJS Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining user-facing applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to user interactions. This role requires a strong understanding of front-end technologies, a passion for creating intuitive user experiences, and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving within an Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and Maintain User-facing Features: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure front-end components using and its ecosystem for consumer banking applications.
2. Collaborate on Application Architecture: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end developers to define and implement application architecture, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
3. Optimize Application Performance: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring efficient loading times and smooth user interactions across various devices and browsers.
4. Write Clean and Maintainable Code: Produce high-quality, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
5. Participate in Code Reviews: Actively engage in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Troubleshoot and Debug: Diagnose and resolve complex issues and bugs in existing applications, ensuring system stability and reliability.
7. Stay Updated with Emerging Technologies: Continuously research and evaluate new front-end technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance development processes and product offerings.
8. Contribute to Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features and components.
9. Adhere to DBS Standards: Ensure all development activities comply with DBS/DBSI's internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Education\: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proven professional experience as a ReactJS Developer or similar front-end role.
  • Solid experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with and its core principles (components, state management, lifecycle methods, hooks, associated libraries/frameworks).
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines, architectures and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, NPM, Module Federation).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Proficiency in using version control tools, preferably Git.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, ViTest) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in front-end styling and responsive design.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in front-end development.
