About the Role

Our client is seeking a
detail-oriented and proactive Payment Officer
to join their finance team and lead the operational excellence of their
loan repayment debit process
. In this role, you will ensure the seamless execution of payment procedures, mitigate financial risks, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and oversee
    payment/debit transactions
    related to loan repayments.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of
    payment transactions, policy documentation
    , and compliance files.
  • Serve as the
    liaison
    between internal teams (Finance, Product, Customer Service) and external vendors (e.g., banks, payment gateways).
  • Identify, analyse, and mitigate
    risks associated with payment operations
    .
  • Generate and present
    regular reports
    on payment trends, failures, and compliance issues to senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance
    efficiency, accuracy, and security
    of existing payment workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in
    process automation and operational scalability
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years
    of experience in payment operations, financial services, or a similar field.
  • Strong grasp of
    financial processes, compliance
    , and risk management best practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
    , with excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proficient in
    Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
    (pivot tables, vlookup, data validation, etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    project management tools
    like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt and work independently in a
    dynamic, high-growth
    environment.
  • Customer-oriented, with strong
    problem-solving skills
    .
  • Willingness to work
    flexible shifts
    , including potential overnight schedules.
