We're Hiring: Banking Operational Excellence Consultant – Jakarta, Indonesia (On-site)

Client Site: Leading Bank in Jakarta

Contract Duration: 1 Year (with potential extension or conversion to permanent)

A global leader in payment innovation and financial technology is launching new strategic initiatives in Indonesia. We're seeking a Banking Operational Excellence Contractor to support operational transformation projects for a top-tier bank.

What You'll Do:

Conduct desktop research on market trends, products, and marketing strategies

Analyze client and internal data to uncover insights and drive recommendations

Assist in developing high-quality project deliverables and Steering Committee presentations

Coordinate alignment between stakeholders and support biweekly progress updates

Support the execution of agreed actions and follow-through on project milestones

What We're Looking For:

Note: Candidate should have experience on the issuing ops side only considered; not just acquiring ops side.

5–7 years of experience in
banking operations and/or operational consulting

Prior experience
working with Indonesian banks or financial institutions

Deep understanding of
transaction authorization, settlement, and clearing—especially with international payment networks (e.g., Visa, Mastercard)

Strong problem-solving, independent working ability, and client-facing experience

Background in
consulting or PMO roles

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English

Must be Jakarta-based and open to working onsite at the client's office

Contract Type:

1-year contract, with potential extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and project continuity.
