Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and ensure optimal operation of critical facilities systems including UPS, generator, MV/LV switchgear, HVAC/CRAC, fire protection, and BMS.
  • Ensure 24/7 data center availability by supervising shift activities and responding to emergency or critical incidents.
  • Perform and review preventive & corrective maintenance schedules to meet SLA and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with HSE standards, SOP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks, incident reports, maintenance records, and shift handover reports.
  • Support energy efficiency initiatives, capacity planning, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Coordinate with NOC, facility management, and client teams to ensure smooth operational alignment.
  • Participate in audit processes (internal/external), including readiness for ISO, Uptime Institute, or client audits.
  • Act as escalation point for technical issues during shift operations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support commissioning, decommissioning, and upgrade activities for facility infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data center facility operations, with proven experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment (UPS, generator, HVAC, MV/LV, BMS, fire system).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); able to communicate effectively with overseas teams and vendors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team supervision, shift management, and task delegation.
  • Experience in incident handling, root cause analysis, and operational reporting.
  • Good understanding of HSE, SOP, and critical environment standards.
  • Able to work in shift-based operations and under pressure.
