About the role

Join the Process Improvement team at PT DCI Indonesia, Tbk as a Data Analyst Intern. In this full-time role, you will support activities related to data auditing and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency across enterprise systems. Based in our Cibitung Campus, this position offers the opportunity to develop strong analytical and technical skills, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic data-driven environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Data Auditing & Profiling: Investigate our key systems to identify data quality issues (e.g., duplicates, missing information, inconsistencies, incorrect formats).
  2. Data Standardization & Mapping: Help map data fields between different systems to prepare for integration and the creation of the SSOT.
  3. Data Integrity & Validation: Run validation reports to verify the accuracy and completeness of data after cleansing.
  4. Documentation: Document the cleansing processes, rules applied, and any data definitions established.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular progress updates on data quality metrics (e.g., percentage of records cleansed, error rates).
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with members of the Maintenance, Operations, Enterprise, and IT teams to understand their data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
  7. Growth Opportunity (Stretch Goals): Data provisioning and BI support, may assist in fulfilling ad-hoc data requests, help with BI use cases such as gathering requirements or helping prototype simple reports and dashboards.

What we're looking for

  1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
  3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, conditional formatting, complex formulas).
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; enjoy tackling messy data.
  5. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. A proactive, curious mindset and a strong desire to learn about data management and enterprise systems.
  7. Big Plus: Basic understanding of or exposure to SQL for data querying, familiarity with data visualization concepts or tools, general understanding of enterprise systems.
