1. Business Unit Head - Genstarkids Indonesia

A pioneering early childhood education brand within Gentem Indonesia's Lifelong Learning Group, seeks an accomplished Business Unit Head to lead the entire Genstarkids Indonesia operation and drive nationwide expansion across Indonesia's rapidly growing education sector. This strategic leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of skills-based education while building a scalable, profitable business unit.

• Position: Business Unit Head - Genstarkids Indonesia
• Reports to: Chief Operating Officer, Gentem Lifelong Learning Group
• Location: Jakarta
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Start Date: Q4 2025

Key Accountabilities

• P&L Leadership: Full responsibility for Genstarkids Indonesia sales and operations
• National Expansion: Lead multi-center operations, franchise development, and market penetration across targeted cities
• Strategic Growth: Execute nationwide expansion strategy, build institutional partnerships, and develop scalable business model for rapid scaling
• Stakeholder Relations: Interface with Gentem Group C-suite, manage investor relations, and represent brand at national industry events

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree in Business, Education, or related field preferred
• Experience:
• Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles with multi-unit P&L responsibility
• Minimum 7 years managing distributed teams and franchise/multi-location operations
• Proven track record in scaling businesses and driving profitable growth across multiple markets
• Experience in education, training, or child development industries strongly preferred
• Technical Skills:
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Experience with franchise or multi-location business models
• Data-driven decision making with strong analytical capabilities
• Language Requirements:
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia (required)
• Professional proficiency in English (required)
• Personal Attributes:
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into executable plans
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
• Change management experience in fast-growing organizations

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the team to achieve targets, overseeing the entire process from generating high-quality leads through online and offline channels, to student enrollment and departure, all while ensuring the highest level of service.
