We are seeking a highly proficient Mandarin Translator to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the communication gap between our technical teams and stakeholders. Unlike a general translator, you will be deeply involved in IT projects, software documentation, and technical troubleshooting sessions, ensuring that technical requirements and solutions are accurately conveyed in both Mandarin and English/Indonesian.

Job Description
  • Provide oral interpretation during technical meetings, project briefings, and discussions between local teams and Chinese stakeholders.
  • Act as a communication bridge to ensure IT project requirements and deadlines are accurately understood by all parties.
  • Assist in the localization of software interfaces and mobile applications to ensure linguistic and technical accuracy.
  • Maintain a comprehensive glossary of IT-related terms to ensure consistency across all company documents and communications.
  • Coordinate with the development team to help troubleshoot issues that arise from language barriers in technical logs or reports.
  • Translate technical documentation, system specifications, and API manuals from Mandarin to English/Indonesian and vice versa.
Requirements
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Chinese Literature.
  • Proven understanding of IT terminology and concepts such as software development, database management, or cloud computing.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a translator or interpreter within the technology or IT industry.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines for project-related translations.
  • High attention to detail in translating complex technical instructions without losing the original context.
  • Prior experience working in a Chinese-based tech company or startup is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in using office productivity tools and familiarity with project management software.
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin (written and verbal) with a minimum HSK 5 or HSK 6 certification is a plus.
