The Mandarin Translator will be responsible for translating various documents, presentations, and communications from English to Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia to Mandarin. They will work closely with consulting teams and marketing teams to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translations that meet the needs of our clients and SEO articles.

**Job Descriptions**:

- Translate Written Materials: Translate documents, reports, presentations, and other written materials from English to Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia to Mandarin.
- Interpretation Services: Provide interpretation services during meetings, conference calls, and other business events as needed.
- Quality Control: Proofread and edit translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Cultural Consulting: Advise on cultural nuances and ensure that translations are culturally sensitive and appropriate.
- Project Management: Manage multiple translation projects, ensuring that deadlines are met and that work is of the highest quality.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients as needed to clarify translation requirements and to provide updates on project status.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks related to translation projects, such as maintaining files and managing work schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Professional Certification in Translation
- Experience: 2-3 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a consulting or corporate environment.
- Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with legal, pharmaceutical, technology, human resources, company formation, regulation] is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error-free translations.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Deep understanding of the cultural nuances of both source and target languages.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in translation software and tools, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Confidentiality: Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Pay: Rp800,000,000 - Rp1,200,000,000 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jakarta: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- S1 (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Translation: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
