You will be entrusted with overseeing daily procurement operations and risk management for a cluster of hotels and related properties in Indonesia. This role translates regional procurement strategies into effective local execution.

As an Area Director of Procurement, We Rely on You To

  • Serve as the primary Business Partner for property leadership within the area. Participate actively in operations meetings, translating regional strategies into local plans and constructively challenging non-standard specifications
  • Lead procurement operations, efficiency and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to the three-quotations rule, providing proper justification and future-proofing exceptions
  • Drive consolidation of spend within the area using a category-based approach. Develop and execute a list of cost-saving opportunities through competitive tenders and sourcing alternatives
  • Ensure a robust supplier base exists for all categories
  • Strategically evaluate and appoint authorized importers for overseas products
  • Act as a key buyer and sourcing contact for sister country teams

We Are Looking for Someone With

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management is essential
  • A minimum of 8 to 12 years in procurement or finance, with a proven track record in managing complex projects and delivering data-driven insights
  • Experience in regional or multi-property environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with leading procurement platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Ariba is highly desirable
  • Exposure to data visualization and analytics tools like Tableau will be advantageous in driving performance metrics and reporting
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities, and the ability to operate independently with integrity and sound judgement
