Job Description

  • Conduct legal and policy research on carbon trading and environmental regulations, and monitor Indonesia's carbon market developments.
  • Provide compliance support for Nature-Based Solutions projects.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, agreements, permits, and compliance reports.
  • Identify and assess legal risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain organized digital and physical legal files.

Requirements

  • Final-year law student or recent graduate majoring in Law.
  • Work from office commitment of 1–2 days per week.
  • Strong interest in environmental law, climate policy, and sustainability.
  • Basic understanding of corporate legal principles, permits, compliance, and land tenurial regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and demonstrates good work ethics.
  • Familiarity with Indonesia's Carbon Economic Value regulations is a plus.
  • Prior experience in legal drafting or compliance work (internships, volunteer roles, or academic projects) is an advantage.
