Formulator Deputy Department Head

Work Location:
Cikupa, Kabupaten Tangerang.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
    , or a related field
  • 3–5 years
    of experience as a
    Formulator
    (preferably in the
    beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industry
    )
  • Strong knowledge of
    product formulation
    ,
    stability testing
    , and
    ingredient safety regulations
  • Familiar with
    BPOM
    ,
    Halal
    , and other product compliance standards
  • Proficient in
    laboratory techniques
    and
    formulation processes
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (Product Development, QA, Production, etc.)
  • Good communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Development
    : Lead the formulation and development of new skincare, cosmetic, and personal care products from concept to launch
  • Innovation & Research
    : Conduct research on raw materials, industry trends, and new technologies to drive innovation and product differentiation
  • Stability & Compatibility Testing
    : Oversee product testing to ensure safety, stability, and optimal performance across all product types
  • Regulatory Compliance
    : Ensure all products comply with BPOM, Halal, and other relevant standards, and support the documentation process
  • Process Improvement
    : Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes and scale up formulas for mass production
  • Cross-Department Coordination
    : Work closely with Product Development, QA, and Packaging to ensure technical development aligns with market needs and brand direction
  • Quality Control Support
    : Assist in resolving product quality issues and addressing customer feedback from a formulation perspective
  • Documentation & Reporting
    : Maintain detailed and accurate records of formulations, testing data, and development processes
